OISC registered immigration advisers are available for help and advice when an appeal is considered, and the Immigration Advisory Service can assist. Depending on the applicant’s circumstances, the advice and help may be free. Legal advisers will be familiar with the appeal process and the types of grounds that are acceptable to cite when completing the appeal application form.

The Asylum and Immigration Tribunal deals with all such claims, and the whole appeal process takes around six weeks. If the appeal is not successful then the applicant will be expected to leave the UK.
